Finding shared content & searching a conversation
Long conversations build up a lot of context — photos, documents, links, and hundreds of messages. The inbox gives you two fast ways to find what you need without scrolling: a shared content panel and an in-conversation search. Both let you jump straight to the exact message where something was sent.
Shared content (Media · Links · Documents)
Open a conversation and look at the contact panel on the right. The Shared content section gathers everything exchanged in the conversation into three tabs, with a count on each:
- Media — images, video, and voice/audio clips, shown as a thumbnail grid. Click any item to open it in a full-screen viewer (a lightbox) right inside the inbox — images and video open large, audio opens in a centred player, and you can step between items with the on-screen arrows or your keyboard's left and right arrow keys. (In the conversation thread itself, images and video also open in this lightbox, while voice notes play inline where they appear.)
- Documents — every other file (PDFs, spreadsheets, archives, and so on), listed with its size and date and a download button.
- Links — every web address that appeared in the conversation's messages, grouped by the message they came from. Click a link to open it in a new tab.
Each tab loads on demand and pages in more as you scroll, so even a very long history opens quickly. Use the search box inside the panel to filter the current tab — by file name for media and documents, or by address/domain for links.
Only secure, short-lived links are used for files; the underlying storage location is never exposed, and shared content is always limited to your workspace and the open conversation.
Searching within a conversation
Click the search icon in the conversation header to reveal the search bar. Start typing and matching messages appear instantly, each showing a preview snippet with your term highlighted, who sent it, and when. The bar shows how many messages matched. Search is case-insensitive. Press Esc to close.
