This endpoint has been deprecated and may be replaced or removed in future versions of the API.

Kept for existing clients; writes the web_search tool module (use PUT /api/tool-modules/web_search/settings). provider moves an engine to the front of the chain; credential_id binds a search credential to its own engine; api_key / search_engine_id go into the front engine's bound credential (created when it has none — a key is never stored in module settings). An api_key with no engine chosen yet is a 422. Omit the API key to keep the stored one.
