Undo for the booking above (doc 31 §7.5-10). Who pressed it is recorded in the write audit trail, which is the half that matters when a clinic asks why a slot emptied.

The removal is verified by reading the record back. This provider deletes hard and answers a gone record with 204, so an empty read is the confirmation. A cancel that could not be confirmed answers with write.verification: unverified rather than claiming success — nobody goes back to check a slot they were told is free.
