Keep this thread ours past Meta's 24 hours
POST/api/conversations/:conversationId/thread-control/extend
For a case that outlives a working day — a part on order, a claim being assessed. Meta's thread control expires after 24 hours of inactivity and this extends it up to seven days.
THE APP THAT CALLS IT IS THE APP THAT KEEPS THE THREAD. Meta's example is an agent who needs more time to find product details; the call extends the CALLER's control, not somebody else's (38 §I1.6). So it is refused when another tool holds the conversation, and it records nothing locally: our ownership is not what changed, and a second remembered date would be a second thing to be wrong about.
A 422 means Meta declined or the thread is not ours — both answers,
not errors.

The refreshed conversation, whose capabilities say whether this panel may still write.
Not authenticated. code: account_disabled means the member's seat was deactivated in this workspace: the session is over even though the token was not revoked (clients sign out and clean up).
Authenticated but not allowed.

This conversation cannot be handed over (no Page behind the channel, no platform id for the contact), or Meta refused — its own sentence is in detail.
