Payment links (iyzico, PayTR)
Ask a customer to pay in the conversation. You send a link, they pay on the secure page of your own payment service — iyzico or PayTR — and the payment is written to your sales ledger by itself: the order shows as paid, the contact card shows the money, and flows that wait for Order paid start.
- Your account, your money. You connect your own iyzico or PayTR merchant account. Payments go straight to it; ConnectWiz never holds the money and never sees card details.
- The amount comes from your ledger. Nobody types an amount: the link asks for what is still owed on the order, read again the moment the customer opens it. If the customer paid cash in the meantime, the link says "already paid" and charges nothing.
- Wiz can ask, a person approves. The assistant can request a link when a customer wants to pay, but nothing is sent until a team member approves it in the inbox.
Payment links are part of the paid plans. If you do not see iyzico and PayTR under Settings → Integrations, your plan does not include them.
Before you start
- You need a confirmed order with something still owed. A draft order is a proposal and a cancelled one is nothing, so neither can be paid by link. See Sales.
- The order must belong to a contact. A link is always for a person.
Connect iyzico
- Go to Settings → Integrations → iyzico.
- Choose the Environment:
- Sandbox — keys that start with
sandbox-. Payments are tests: you see Test payment received on the link, and nothing is written to the ledger. You can open a free sandbox account atsandbox-merchant.iyzipay.com. - Live — your real merchant keys. Payments are real and are recorded.
- Sandbox — keys that start with
- In the iyzico merchant panel go to Settings › Merchant Settings › API Keys, copy the API key and the Secret key, and paste them here.
- Click Connect. The keys are tested with iyzico before anything is saved; a sandbox key with Live selected (or the other way round) is refused.
The keys are stored encrypted and never shown again. To change them, connect again with the new pair.
iyzico notifications (optional)
Payments through iyzico are confirmed without this: ConnectWiz asks iyzico directly when the customer comes back from the payment page, and checks open links every few minutes in case the customer closed the page. If you want iyzico to tell us as well, switch on iyzico notifications and paste the address shown into iyzico's merchant notification setting.
iyzico accepts one notification address for the whole account. If your website already uses iyzico, that address is probably your website's — leave this switch off rather than take it away.
Connect PayTR
- Go to Settings → Integrations → PayTR.
- In the PayTR store panel go to Support & Setup › Integration Information and copy the Merchant ID, Merchant key and Merchant salt.
- Paste them here and click Connect. ConnectWiz checks them with PayTR before saving.
Payment by link must be enabled on your PayTR store; PayTR asks for a separate Linkle Ödeme application for it. While your store is in PayTR's test mode, payments are tests and are not recorded in the ledger.
Each link reports its payment to its own address automatically. The notification URL in your PayTR panel is not touched, so a website that already takes payments through PayTR keeps working as before.
PayTR has no sandbox, so ConnectWiz verifies the link flow on a real test store before opening it. Until then PayTR is listed with a Coming soon badge and cannot be connected. It opens by itself once the verification is done.
Using both
You can connect both services. New links go through the one marked Used for new links — the first one you connected. To switch, open the other one and click Use for new links.
Send a payment link
From a contact's card (or the contact panel in the inbox), open Sales. Under an order that still has something owed, click Create payment link.
- Copy link puts the address on your clipboard, to send any way you like.
- Send in a conversation… picks one of the contact's conversations and sends the link there: as a labelled Pay now button on WhatsApp, as one sentence with the address elsewhere.
Each order has at most one live link at a time; a second press gives you the same link. Withdraw cancels a link nobody has paid — at PayTR too, so an old message cannot be paid any more.
A link is payable for seven days. After that it shows Expired and the customer is asked for a new one.
- Marketplace conversations — Trendyol, Hepsiburada, n11, Çiçeksepeti, Pazarama, idefix, Amazon, Etsy, eBay and the Mirakl marketplaces. Their rules forbid sending a buyer to pay outside the marketplace.
- Public comments and reviews.
- Phone calls.
- SMS, until the legal review of payment links over SMS is complete.
On WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger the 24-hour window applies as for every
message. On WhatsApp, outside the window, send an approved template whose button
address ends in /p/{{1}} and fill the button with the link's code — see
Flows.
What the customer sees
The link in the chat is ConnectWiz's own address, not the payment service's. When the customer opens it:
- If the link was paid, withdrawn or has expired, a short page says so and nothing is charged.
- What is owed is read from your ledger at that moment. If nothing is owed any more, the page says Already paid.
- Otherwise the customer is taken to iyzico's or PayTR's secure payment page, for exactly what is owed. Card instalments are offered where the service and the card allow them.
The pages name your business, never the customer.
When the customer pays
The payment is written to the ledger as an Online payment, with the service,
the card family and the last four digits (for example iyzico · Bonus •••• 1234 · 3×). No card number is ever stored.
- The amount recorded is what closes the debt. If the customer chose an instalment plan with interest, what they were charged on top is kept with the payment for reference but does not count towards the order.
- The same payment reported twice — PayTR repeats its notification until we answer, iyzico reaches us more than one way — is written once.
- Paid more than was owed (two tabs, or cash taken while the link was open): the money is recorded anyway and the link is marked Overpaid, so you can refund the difference.
- When the order's balance reaches zero, flows waiting for Order paid start (see Flows). A payment recorded by hand that settles the order starts them too.
Refunds
A team member with the Refund payments through the payment service permission (administrators by default) sees Refund next to a payment that came through a link. Enter the amount — all of it or part — and confirm.
- The refund is recorded in the ledger only after iyzico or PayTR accepted it. A refused refund changes nothing and shows the service's reason.
- On iyzico, a full refund on the same day is a cancel, which never appears on the card statement; otherwise it is a refund. You press one button either way.
- An order whose payments are all refunded starts flows waiting for Order refunded.
Neither Wiz nor a flow can refund.
Let Wiz request payment links
Go to Settings → AI Assistant and switch on Request payment links.
When a customer wants to pay, Wiz asks for a link for that customer's order — by its number, never by an amount. The link waits for approval:
- A strip appears above the conversation: Wiz wants to send a payment link: S-2026-0042, ₺1,250.00 with Approve and Reject.
- The member the conversation is assigned to gets a notification.
- Wiz tells the customer that the team will send the link in the chat once it is approved. It never writes a link itself.
Approve sends the link into the same conversation. Members need the Send payment links and approve the assistant's permission (agents have it by default).
Wiz only offers this where a link may go, only when a payment service is connected and only to someone who owes on a confirmed order. A visitor whose identity is not proven in the chat gets no link for an order they did not place in that chat — the payment page shows the order and the amount.
Good to know
- Sandbox and test-mode payments never reach the ledger. They show on the link as Test payment received, so you can try the whole thing before going live.
- Disconnecting stops links already sent from working; payments already recorded stay in the ledger.
- Your customer's data. For iyzico, the customer's name, email, phone and city are sent with the payment page — never a street address. iyzico requires a national ID number, which ConnectWiz does not collect; a placeholder is sent instead. PayTR receives no personal data with a link.
