Usage & quotas
The Usage tab on the Account page shows how much of your AI and messaging allowance you have used in the current billing period, and how much is left.
Opening the page
Open the user menu (your avatar, bottom-left of the sidebar), choose
Account, then open the Usage tab — or go straight there with /usage. The
page is available to administrators only.
The billing period
Usage is measured per billing period — a calendar month (in UTC). The current
period is shown at the top of the page (for example, 2026-06). When a new month
starts, your usage counters reset to zero.
What is measured
Each card shows one metric:
- AI replies — the number of replies the AI assistant has generated.
- AI tokens — the total AI processing units those replies consumed.
- Messages received — messages sent to you by visitors and customers.
- Messages sent — messages sent by your agents and the AI bot.
Each card shows the amount used so far. If your plan sets a limit for that metric, the card also shows the limit, a usage bar, and how much remains. Metrics with no limit show only the amount used, marked Unlimited.
When a limit is reached
If quota enforcement is on for your workspace (shown as Limits enforced at the top of the page) and you reach an enforced limit:
- The AI assistant pauses for new replies on that metric. The card shows a Limit reached badge.
- Conversations are not lost — incoming messages still arrive, and your human agents can keep replying normally. Only the automatic AI replies pause.
- When the new billing period starts, or your plan limit is raised, the AI assistant resumes automatically. You do not need to turn anything back on.
Inbound and outbound message counts are measured for visibility, but by default they do not block anything — your visitors can always reach you.
Need a higher limit?
Quota limits come from your plan. To raise a limit, contact your account administrator or upgrade your plan.
