Plans & subscription

The Subscription tab on the Account page shows the plan your workspace is on, how much of your allowance you have used this billing period, and the other plans you can switch to.

How paid plans work

Choosing a paid plan first shows exactly what it costs, then opens secure checkout (hosted by Stripe). Your subscription changes only after your payment is confirmed — until then your workspace keeps its current plan. Leaving a paid plan is a cancellation: at the end of your paid period, or right away with the unused part turned into account credit.

Opening the page

Open the user menu (your avatar, bottom-left of the sidebar), choose Account, then open the Subscription tab — or go straight there with /billing. The page is available to administrators only.

Your current plan

At the top you will see:

  • Your current plan — its name (for example, Free or Pro) and a status badge (Trial, Active, Past due, Canceled).
  • The billing period — the calendar month your usage is counted against.
  • Manage billing — on a paid plan, a button that opens the Stripe billing portal where you can update your card.
  • Renews on … / Cancel plan — on a paid plan, when it renews and the button to cancel it (see Cancelling a paid plan). A plan you have cancelled shows the date it ends instead, with Resume plan.
  • Usage vs your plan limits — one row per metric (AI replies, AI tokens, messages received, messages sent) with a bar showing how much of your plan's allowance you have used. Metrics your plan does not cap show as unlimited.

New workspaces start on the Free plan in a trial state.

The plan catalogue

Below your current plan, each available plan is shown as a card with:

  • its name and a short description,
  • its price,
  • the headline limits — AI replies and tokens per month, and agent seats,
  • an action button labelled for the change relative to your current plan: Upgrade (a higher-priced plan), Downgrade (a lower-priced plan), or Your current plan (marked and not selectable).

Plans with unlimited usage or seats show Unlimited.

Switching plans

Click Upgrade or Downgrade on the plan you want. A window shows what the change costs before anything is charged; confirm it to continue.

  • From Free to a paid plan — you pay the full price of the new plan, and your paid period starts today. The days left of your free month are not counted against the price, and the paid month is not added on after them.

  • From one paid plan to another, up or down — the new plan starts today, at its full price, for a whole new period. The part of your current plan you have not used yet is worked out — the days left × what you paid for the period — and taken off:

    • if the new plan costs more than that unused value, you pay the difference now;
    • if the unused value is more than the new plan's price, you pay nothing, and the excess is added to your account credit (your wallet). It is not refunded to your card. Account credit pays future invoices and usage.

The window lists the unused value of your current plan, the price of the new plan, and the amount to pay now or the credit you will receive.

Example — upgrade. You are on a $99 plan with 10 of its 30 days left. The unused value is $99 × 10 ⁄ 30 = $33.00. Moving to a $299 plan, you pay $299 − $33 = $266.00 now, and your new 30-day period starts today.

Example — downgrade. You are on a $299 plan with 20 of its 30 days left. The unused value is $299 × 20 ⁄ 30 = $199.33. Moving to a $99 plan, you pay $0.00, $100.33 is added to your account credit, and your new period starts today.

How the numbers are rounded: each prorated amount is rounded to the nearest cent (half a cent rounds up), so the amount to pay plus the unused value always equals the new price exactly. Card payments have a $0.50 minimum: a smaller amount due is raised to $0.50. The prices shown are before tax; if tax applies, it is added to the amount you pay.

If you do not complete the payment, nothing changes. An unpaid plan change expires after a day; choose the plan again to see the current figures.

Cancelling a paid plan

Click Cancel plan on your current-plan card (or Downgrade on the Free plan). You choose one of two options and confirm it:

  • Cancel at the end of the period — your plan keeps working until the date shown, then the workspace moves to Free. Nothing more is charged: no renewal invoice, no payment reminders. Until that date the card shows when the plan ends and a Resume plan button that undoes the cancellation.
  • Cancel now — the workspace moves to Free immediately. No money is refunded to your card. The value of the time you have paid for and not used yet — days left × what you paid for the period — is added to your account credit instead, and the window shows the amount before you confirm.

Turning off automatic renewal and Cancel at the end of the period are the same thing. If you want to keep your plan but pay each invoice yourself, leave the plan renewing and do not save a card: the renewal invoice is emailed to you.

Extra channel slots, seats and storage you bought belong to the paid plan and end with it.

Extra storage

On a plan with a storage limit, you can add storage in packs of 10 GB. A pack costs the per-GB price × 10 each month — $5.00 a month at the standard $0.50 per GB. Buying a pack in the middle of a period charges only the rest of that period, never less than $0.50. Remove a pack takes 10 GB off straight away; it is not refunded, and the next renewal simply bills less.

After checkout

When you return from the secure checkout page, you land back on the Subscription tab and a banner appears at the top:

  • Payment confirmed — your subscription is activating. The page checks again every second for about ten seconds and shows your subscription is updated as soon as the change is recorded. If it takes longer, the banner says so; refresh the page a minute later.
  • Checkout canceled — you left checkout without paying, and your plan is unchanged.

Close the banner with the × button.

Billing history

Your past invoices live on the Invoices tab of the Account page, listed newest first with the invoice number, date, amount, and a status badge (for example, Paid). When an invoice has a hosted page, a View invoice link opens it in a new tab. Before your first payment — or on the Free plan — there are no invoices yet and the tab shows a short empty-state message.

How limits relate to usage

Your plan sets the per-period limits that the Usage & quotas page measures against. When you move to a higher plan, your AI reply and token allowances increase; when an enforced limit is reached, the AI assistant pauses generating new replies until the next period or until you move to a plan with a higher allowance.

Features your plan includes

A plan decides which areas of the product your workspace has, as well as the limits on them. To see what yours includes, open Settings → Features. A feature your plan leaves out appears there as a locked row marked Not included in your plan, and it does not appear anywhere else in the panel or the app.

If you move to a plan without a feature you have been using, that area stops immediately, and none of its data is deleted:

  • Flows stop starting, and a flow already in progress stops before its next step.
  • Broadcasts in progress, SMS and email campaigns, and calling campaigns stop sending and dialling. People already queued are marked as not sent, with the reason.
  • Webhooks stop leaving your workspace.
  • The area's screens disappear, and its API answers 404.

Move back to a plan that includes the feature and everything is there again: your flows, lists, templates and settings.
